How to compare a personal loan in South Africa
Compare the same amount in rand and the same repayment schedule. Ask for the pre-agreement statement, interest, initiation and service fees and the total payable. Verify the provider independently through the National Credit Regulator before sharing personal details.
How to find a loan for the amount you need
Set an amount in the local currency and select “Show options”. The list keeps providers with a stated maximum equal to or above that amount. Check the first-loan limit separately: the maximum may be for returning customers. The filter does not calculate the amount you will qualify for.
How to compare online and personal loans
Compare products using the same amount and a similar repayment term. Review the stated limit, first-loan conditions, APR or local annual-cost measure, mandatory fees, repayment structure and total repayment. Credavix organizes available information, but catalog position does not mean one lender is the cheapest or best choice for every borrower.
Installment loans and loans repaid in one payment
How you receive the money and how you repay it are separate terms. Check whether repayment is a single payment or a series of installments. Compare the same amount and term before comparing total repayment. Confirm the supported account, transfer method, required documents and timing directly with the provider.

How to check an online credit provider in South Africa
Check a legal name and NCR registration, recognise misleading loan promises and protect information before applying online.
Does a higher loan limit mean easier approval?
No. A limit is not a quotation or affordability assessment. Check the amount available to a new customer and the provider’s requirements; only the provider can decide your application.
What should I compare besides the interest rate?
Read all mandatory charges, the number and dates of instalments, net funds received and total repayment. Check whether any insurance or service is optional before agreeing.
Are no-credit-check or guaranteed-approval loans assured?
Credavix does not guarantee approval. Each provider sets requirements for age, income, documents and credit history. A maximum amount that covers your request does not confirm eligibility.
Does an advertised instalment show the full cost of a loan?
No. Compare net rand received, the complete schedule, interest and mandatory charges. Ask for the pre-agreement statement and quotation. A longer tenure may reduce the instalment while increasing total repayment. Check the provider’s identity independently through the NCR; catalogue position does not predict approval.
How do I compare a promotional rate with the standard rate?
Check eligible customers, promotion dates and conditions under which it ends. Compare the later rate, mandatory charges, applicable annual cost measure and total repayment for your actual term. A lower rate for part of a loan does not describe its complete cost.
Does a quick application mean an instant transfer?
No. Assessment, decision and disbursement depend on the provider and payment method. Credavix does not submit an application for you or accelerate a transfer. Verify account requirements and processing times before continuing.
The catalogue is ordered by general average affiliate earnings per click (EPC), highest first. Offers without valid EPC appear last. EPC is not a loan interest rate, an approval probability or a measure of value for the borrower. Credavix may earn a commission for a referral or action.
